Founded in 1998, Pearce has more than 4,000 employees and 28 locations across the U.S. Pearce is a wholly owned subsidiary of CBRE Group, Inc., the world's largest commercial real estate services and investment firm.Your ImpactPearce is seeking Experienced HVAC Repair Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on Cell Tower sites. This is a fast-paced and rewarding job that is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the Telecom industry. This is a regional position. Candidates should reside in the Oakland, California area.Core ResponsibilitiesMaintaining cooling systems – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems.Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment.Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services.Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.Core ExperienceMust be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred).Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred.Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.Physical/Work EnvironmentCandidates should reside in the Oakland, California area.Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion.Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.Occasional overnights required-company pays all travel costs and provides per diem.Driving to remote work sites as needed.Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds).Will be required to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.Compensation: $30.00-$38.00 hourly/DOEAt Pearce, we are committed to fair and transparent pay practices.
