The position operates horizontally across the EDAP Global markets Data Platform, supporting multiple environments Strong expertise in: We are seeking a highly experienced Red Hat Linux Administrator to support large-scale patching, upgrades, and operational management of a 1000 server Hadoop ecosystem running on RHEL 8.x and 9.x. The role requires strong automation skills, hands-on troubleshooting expertise, and the ability to operate effectively in a high-availability enterprise environment 8 years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration in enterprise environments. Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8.x / 9.x OS patching, upgrades, and system hardening Proficiency in automation and scripting: Ansible BladeLogic Bash / Shell scripting Experience managing large-scale environments (1000 servers preferred). Strong experience with: Linux builds and provisioning Filesystem management (LVM, XFS, etc.) Performance monitoring and tuning Experience working in remote / distributed team environments.
