City Year is seeking an Academic Tutor and Mentor to support students in partner public schools. In this role, you will provide small-group and one-on-one tutoring in core subjects, monitor student progress, and collaborate with teachers to reinforce classroom instruction. You will build strong, positive relationships with students, serving as a mentor and role model to promote attendance, engagement, and social-emotional growth. Working on a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll help plan enrichment activities, participate in school-wide initiatives, and access ongoing professional development in a collaborative, mission-driven environment focused on equity and student success.
